Just across the street from the beach, this family-friendly resort features 5 pools, tennis & pickleball courts, and the famous Louisiana Lagniappe restaurant on-site. Located in one of Destin’s most sought-after communities, where families return year after year. Once you book in Sandpiper Cove, you’ll never want to stay anywhere else. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at your perfect beach getaway!

Good to know

Sandpiper Cove has a cozy, homey feel where you'll instantly feel comfortable and safe. The community is gated with security, so you can relax and enjoy your stay. There's always something going on - from friendly pickleball and tennis matches to swimming, golf, or just strolling around. It's a welcoming place where the vibe is relaxed, fun, and friendly! Land & Shels is located on the first floor with hole #4 of the Par 3 Golf Course as your backyard and the canal just right around the corner! We are a beautiful, 5-7 min walk across the street to Sandpiper Cove's private, gated 1,100' Gulf Beach! Grab lunch and drinks at the onsite beach tiki bar, "The Sand Flea", also open March-October. For dinner, either enjoy some of Destin's finest dining at Louisiana Lagniappe, just a 3-5 min walk, or take the Water Taxi to the Harborwalk Village area where you can choose from multiple restaurants, shop, and see fireworks every Thursday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day. When you experience Land & Shels at Sandpiper Cove, you will never want to stay anywhere else! (SANDPIPER COVE WILL VERIFY THAT THE LEAD GUEST IS OVER THE AGE OF 25 before allowing the renters to check in. THIS RULE IS SPECIFIC TO SANDPIPER COVE GUIDELINES.) (THIS UNIT IS SECURE WITH A RING DOORBELL IN ORDER TO PREVENT MORE THAN 6 GUESTS STAYING ON PROPERTY AND TO VERIFY THERE ARE NO PETS IN THIS UNIT AT ANY TIME.)

House Rules

Per Sandpiper Cove Guidelines - the lead guest must be over the age of 25. This will be verified upon check-in at the Security Gatehouse when pulling into the complex. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS. FINES WILL BE ENFORCED IF MORE THAN 6 GUESTS ATTEMPT TO STAY OR IF PETS ENTER THIS UNIT. THE USE OF A RING DOORBELL BY OWNER WILL ENFORCE THIS RULE.

Other Details to Note

We happily provide you and your guests with Free Beach Service from March 1 - October 31 each year! Beach Service includes two chairs with footrests and an umbrella. These items are already on the beach side for you! You simply walk across to the beach and let the Chair-Men know you are staying in Unit 3102. They will then set you up wherever you'd like to be! If you are in need of an extra set, this can be done for $48 per day.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper! There’s a reason this was our third time staying in the secure condo community: we love the piece of mind that comes with the 24/7 staffed front entrance, the onsite golfing, easy access to the beautiful and private beach, as well as multiple pool options. It was disappointing that only one of the three hot tubs on site was working this trip. I hope Sandpiper can get the other two fixed soon for other guests to utilize. Our condo was wonderful and had everything we needed, including golf clubs and balls! We especially liked the convenience of having the beach chair service included with our stay. Our hosts were excellent and quick to help and answer any questions we had. An extra thanks to them for helping us thru a unique payment issue situation! ;) I’m sure another trip to Sandpiper Cove is in our future! When it happens we’d love to stay at 3102 again! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at Land & Shels in Destin! The location was perfect – just a quick walk to the beach, and so close to awesome restaurants, shops, and fun attractions. We barely had to use the car, which made vacation even more relaxing. The condo itself was super cozy, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable – after long days at the beach, we slept like babies. It had everything we needed and felt like a true home away from home. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Destin! Pro Tip - After spending all day on the beach, get ready and walk just a few steps to Louisiana Lagniappe (which is IN Sandpiper Cove) and enjoy a delicious meal with a view!
